Storm The Paint is a brand spanking new website on the Internet. We are dedicated to bring you, the reader, an avenue to read all things St. John’s Red Storm related as well as doing so in a different way than some of the other SJU websites. That’s not saying they were doing anything wrong — because, trust me, we have a lot of respect for RITG and the like — but we do plan on doing things a little bit different here. Really, all we strive to be is another alternative for a Johnnies fan to get their news, opinion and insight — without being a place where we basically regurgitate another person’s hard work. Also, lots of bad humor. And I mean, LOTS.

With that being said, it would only make sense that we do a little summary as to how we got here (not the website, the program). You might notice all the player profiles on the site. Now, while they are great for reference and whatnot, they don’t honestly catch any casual Red Storm fan up to speed to today. That is why we are going to take a look at the top five stories from last season as well how they may help change the narrative to this season.

Okay. Enough of me with the gibber-jabbering. Instead, let’s get this thing started and take a look at the Red Storm’s past and how it may alter the upcoming season for St. John’s.
