The Big East As If Teams Were Beers

Villanova Is Miller High Life

The Villanova Wildcats have always been a good to great program. Even now, with some years not being as good as others, Jay Wright always seems to have his program ready to bust out from the rest of the Big East. That is without having a slew of NBA players come through the program. Sure, they have a guy or two come out every once in a while, but for the most part the program relies on having a slew of good, but not great players on the team.
Miller High Life is a good, but not great beer. Like Nova, The Champagne of Beers (actually makes it sound gross) has been around for a long time. I used to drink this stuff in mass quantities back in the day. You know, before I graduated from casual beer drinker to full blown alki.
Like the High Life, the Wildcats don’t seem to be as highly appreciated as they should be. Despite their consistency, tendency to be good year in and year out as well as (usually) being enjoyable to watch, we take for granted Villanova’s awesomeness.
