Journal,
Football. Football. Wiggles. Football. Dora The Explorer. Ray Lewis. Sad Face.
Not only can I not escape football, but now my kids are also trying to ruin my life by making me watch their shows every second of the day. Do you have any idea what it is like to go from Dora to Ray Lewis back to The Wiggles? It is like some form of cruel punishment. I feel this is my God’s way of telling me all those years of punching old homeless people in the face was a bad idea.
It can’t be understated, football is fun. I still like it at this point. That is despite the fact that my sports life currently revolves around its fickle presence. When I say fickle, I don’t mean that football is a shady character. I just mean it won’t give me my space or allow me to see other sports — much in the same way as an ex-girlfriend I had in high school wouldn’t let me hang with my friends. I wonder what she is up to?
Take it easy,
College Hoops Fan
