Journal,
I couldn’t help myself. I ended up Googeling my ex. Turns out she is a HUGE fan of the NFL and blogs about her favorite team. Surprisingly enough, she has a big following on Twitter.
To start my morning, Journal, I need to be honest. I was too afraid to turn on my TV. I knew what awaited me — tons of football. Still, because I am a glutton for punishment, I turned it on. To nobody’s surprise I saw lots of football related stuff. I also saw pundits raise questions as to what a home victory against a team who hasn’t won since week three of last season means for a team that hasn’t lost a regular season game in 10 weeks. I am going to go out on a limb here and say it means nothing. But what do I know? I am just a lowly college basketball fan.
Seriously, I’ve tried to get by football season and wait for college hoops to start. I swear, I tried.
Forever in my heart,
College Hoops Fan
