Red Storm Picked Fourth in Big East by Blue Ribbon Basketball Yearbook

Temper your expectations, St. John’s Red Storm fans. Well, not really temper them as much as you should get used to that same feeling you get when your significant other tells you that you are adequate in the bedroom, after dark, preferably when your children are asleep. Acclaimed college basketball publication Blue Ribbon Basketball Yearbook has picked the Johnnies to finish fourth in the Big East Conference.
First, at least St. John’s aren’t picked last. I mean, that position is normally designated to perennial cellar-dwellers DePaul. At the same time being picked fourth does come with its own special benefits. You know, like not having an absurd amount of expectations on the team. Seriously, just leave putting crazy pressure on St. John’s to the Red Storm players themselves.
According to Blue Ribbon Basketball Yearbook the Big East Conference will play out the following way: Villanova was the preseason pick to win the entire shebang, then the Hoyas second, with Providence rounding out the top-three. Your St. John’s Red Storm were picked fourth, with Xavier fifth and Creighton sixth. Rounding out the bottom of the league was Seton Hall (seventh), Marquette (eighth), Butler (ninth) and DePaul dead last (shocker).
