No. 5 St. John’s basketball moment of 2020 – Greg Williams Jr. unleashes monster dunk against Boston College

Greg Williams has had some big dunks in his days wearing the Red Storm uniform and in 2020 he pulled out another huge one.

On November 30, St. John’s would travel up to Bubbleville at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut to take on Boston College.

After weathering a bit of a storm from the Eagles in the first half, the Red Storm would go on a huge run to head into the break ahead 52-40.

The Red Storm would continue this blitz in the second half capped off by Williams Jr.’s monstrous throw-down off a Marcellus Earlington steal with 13 minutes to go in the game that would put the Red Storm up by 20 at the time.

The dunk would be two of Williams’ 17 points in the game as the Red Storm would go on to win 97-93.

Here’s to more great moments and wins for the St. John’s basketball program in 2021!
