It will be interesting to see if the thumb injury plays any factor in the point guard’s style of play or if he will be hesitant in his attack offensively or defensively.
A steal or a couple of buckets in the early going would be a good way for the freshman to ease his way back into game action in what will be a physical and high intensity matchup.
The Brooklyn, New York native is averaging 11.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per game with a 46.1-shooting percentage from the field and 30.8-percent from beyond the arc.
Posh Alexander getting to the rim and hitting some outside jumpers early will take the sole spotlight away from Julian Champagnie and allow the sophomore forward to have more room to operate in the half court.
