No. 4 Thing to Watch for St. John’s basketball:

Who Will be in the Closing Lineup?

As previously stated, Mike Anderson said things will be a work in progress at the beginning of the season but who will be his his closing lineup remains to be seen.

Julian Champagnie and Posh Alexander are locks but the other three spots are seemingly up for grabs.

Anderson loved to try and get the ball in the hands of Dylan Addae-Wusu at the end of games last season but the sophomore has been sidelined for most of the preseason with an ankle injury.

Stef Smith, Tareq Coburn, and Montez Mathis all will see major roles this season and will likely have a shot to be on the floor as St. John’s tries to close out games.

A lot more answers will present itself on Tuesday, November 9 as St. John’s hosts Mississippi Valley State to tipoff the 2021-22 season inside Carnesecca Arena at 7:45pm EST.
