St. John’s basketball keys to victory against Kansas:
Limit Turnovers
One of the main issues with St. John’s this season has been its turnovers and that must be limited against an aggressive Kansas defense.
The Johnnies are averaging 15.8 turnovers per game which has turned into an average of 17.1 points per game for its opponent.
Kansas thrives off live ball turnovers, which equal easy points at the opposite end for the Jayhawks.
Guards Posh Alexander, Dylan Addae-Wusu, Stef Smith, and others have to value the basketball and execute at a high level each time down the floor in order to maximize St. John’s chances to win as a home underdog.
