St. John’s basketball Keys to Victory:

Prediction

Wednesday night will be a hard fought game between St. John’s and DePaul, much to the delight of Villanova.

Both of these teams give everything they have in the tanks every time they step out on the floor and that won’t change this outing.

St. John’s yet to be at full strength this season against DePaul seems as it could be a slight edge to the Johnnies and the Blue Demon’s victory in Chicago should prove as a wake-up call to the Red Storm that this game cannot be taken lightly.

The Red Storm don’t have much more experience than the Blue Demon’s in the Big East Tournament but the experience that St. John’s does have will shine through at Madison Square Garden.

Posh Alexander will take the matchup against Javon Freeman-Liberty personally and DePaul will have no answer for Julian Champagnie on the defensive side of the floor.

St. John’s will live to see another day and set up a potential classic on Thursday night at the Big East Tournament.

Prediction: St. John’s 78, DePaul 67
