Starting Minutes Still Available

St. John’s used three different starting lineups in three games during its trip to the Dominican Republic.

Posh Alexander, Andre Curbelo, AJ Storr, David Jones, and Joel Soriano started the first game.

Posh Alexander, Andre Curbelo, David Jones, O’Mar Stanley, and Joel Soriano started the second game.

Posh Alexander, Montez Mathis, David Jones, O’Mar Stanley, and Joel Soriano started the third game.

The starters minutes are there for any combination of Curbelo, Mathis, Stanley, Storr, Dylan Addae-Wusu, or Rafael Pinzon to earn but the trio of Alexander, Jones, and Soriano appear to be locks to start on opening night against Merrimack.

Each player had their positive moments on the trip to the Dominican Republic but Storr and Stanley specifically stood out consistently through the three games.

Perhaps a lineup of Alexander, Storr, Jones, Stanley, and Soriano could take the floor to begin the game on November 7.
