9. Georgetown Hoyas (2-0)

The second year of Ed Cooley in Washington D.C. must yield results for the Hoyas and it certainly looks like he has a big man that he can build around.

Freshman Thomas Sorber posted 20 points and 13 rebounds in a season opening victory over Lehigh and 25 points and nine rebounds against Fairfield. Neither game was overly impressive, but Georgetown did what they didn't do last season -- win.

Notre Dame looms on Saturday in a game that Cooley needs to continue to generate buzz around his program.

8. Seton Hall Pirates (1-1)

Shaheen Holloway is a fantastic coach but he might have his work cut out for him this season with Seton Hall.

The Pirates have failed to register 60 points in its first two games -- a 4-point win over Saint Peter's and 1-point loss to Fordham. Right now, the team doesn't have a player that can get a basket when they needed it the most and are relying on a pressure defense to try and stifle inferior opponents.

Could they be on upset alert again on Wednesday when taking on Hofstra -- in a de facto road game?
