The Big East Conference entered the year with a lot of expectations and it has lived up to the hype -- but what will be coming in 2024?

Dan Hurley and the defending National Champion UConn Huskies look like they could repeat, as long as they get a healthy Donovan Clingan back soon, and Marquette -- the defending conference champions -- are still one of the best teams in the league while the rest of the schools jockey for position.

Villanova is trying to keep Justin Moore healthy for a late season push and Creighton is still working through some things in a confusing start to the season as Providence is looking to take the next step with key returning players for head coach Kim English.

St. John's is hoping to have turned a corner in Rick Pitino's first season in Queens while Butler has been one of the biggest surprises in the league during the second year under head coach Thad Matta.

Xavier has been ravished by injuries and Sean Miller has a lot of work to do with the Musketeers and Seton Hall remains not as talented on paper with the rest of the conference but its scrappiness keeps the Pirates competitive with Shaheen Holloway pulling the strings.

DePaul and Georgetown, however, are still bringing up the rear of the Big East despite the Hoyas' flashy hire of Ed Cooley to replace Patrick Ewing this offseason.

Entering the new calendar year and current projections of the team's, we provide the current Big East Power Rankings.

11. DePaul Blue Demons (2-9, 0-1 Big East)

Eventually this has to come to an end, right?

The Tony Stubblefield era in Chicago has been an unmitigated disaster and after DePaul hosts Chicago State on Saturday, the Blue Demons will not be a favorite in any other game it plays this season.

DePaul could actually finish the season with less than five wins.

A unanimous choice to be last in the power rankings.
