Creighton Is Pabst Blue Ribbon

Only true, I discovered that band before you hipsters drink Pabst Blue Ribbon. Well, hipsters and that old dude at the bar who is unwilling to realize the irony of him complaining about kids and their cellphones while taking a sip of the cheapest beer available at his local watering hole. Sadly for the old man, his beer is about to get more expensive because those hipsters are making Pabst a product in large demand. Damn you, hipsters.

The Creighton Bluejays are hip. Unfortunately for them, as well as the Big East, it is solely because of Doug E. Fresh (real name, Doug McDermott). What is going to happen to the program when McDermott graduates after the season? Probably nothing good. They are a program that is likely to end up struggling in the Big East afterwards, but because of its initial success with McDermott there for their first season, Creighton may end up losing their talented coach. That would be two McDermotts gone in a single offseason.

Like Creighton, Pabst will struggle to stay hip among the younger crowd if, you know, all the hipsters no longer deem the beer cooler than a cucumber on the opposite side of the pillow. I guess what I am trying to say, in the most roundabout way as humanly possible, is that after another year or so both the program and product are going to be trending in the wrong direction.
