2017 St. John’s Target Sidney Wilson Offered by South Florida
By Joe Nardone
It is never too early to look forward to the 2017 college basketball season. Am I right or am I right? Wait, don’t answer that. Regardless, the St. John’s Red Storm have already been working towards building a recruiting class for that particular season. One of the names that has been linked to the Red Storm and was already offered a scholarship by the school, Sidney Wilson, being one of those players Steve Lavin would like to scoop up.
However, it is not every day that a prospect who is ranked 19th overall at his position by Future150 goes by unnoticed by other schools. So, yeah, it comes as no shock that the Red Storm have competition for Sidney Wilson and his basketball services.

Minnesota, Indiana and St. John’s have all already offered this kid a scholarship. Now, according to the New York Post, Wilson has another offer worth mulling over. This one by South Florida because — as we all know — they ain’t no party like a South Florida party because a South Florida party don’t stop or something.
Likely something, but the realilty of the 2017 recruiting trail seems so far away and I have yet to see a single game of Sidney Wilson. I have nothing to add other than you can learn more about him by Googling him and hoping you don’t run into the other Sidney Wilson.
