St. John’s Lands Sneaky Visit With Isaiah Briscoe at Exhibition
By Joe Nardone
Isaiah Briscoe is certainly one of the top recruits in all of the 2015 class. That is why programs have lined up for the guard as soon as it was humanly possible to bother him with such things as letters, visits and hugs (do recruits and coaches hug?). Still, covering every waking moment of his life can sometimes be a bit of a drag.
Well, if the Isaiah Briscoe recruiting experience was a cigarette I guess it is time for me to take another drag, as reports have come out that he was on campus and at the St. John’s Red Storm exhibition game on Saturday.

Briscoe is expected to make a decision sometime at the end of the week. In fact, it is said that his father, George, will know his son’s decision by Monday and they are just waiting for ESPN to clear up a date for him to announce it. So, the fact that Isaiah Briscoe met with Red Storm coaches and visited campus so late in his process could only be viewed as a positive — or, if you’re a negative Nancy, a last ditch effort by the Johnnies.
