The St. John’s basketball coaching staff is continuing to hit the recruiting trail after the Red Storm has extended offers to multiple recruits in the Class of 2021 and 2022.
Mike Anderson and his coaching staff are continuing to work hard on the recruiting trail as the Red Storm have extended offers to members of the Class of 2021 and 2022.
The lone member of the Class of 2021 that received an offer from the Johnnies, Jalen Bradberry, is listed as a two-star prospect, according to Verbal Commits and is a native of Niagara Falls, New York.

A 6-foot-3 point guard is a standout at The Park School of Buffalo who transferred to the school last summer after leading Niagara Falls High School in his freshman and sophomore seasons.
Bradberry also plays for the New Heights Youth AAU program, the same program that developed Julian Champagnie, a rising sophomore on the Red Storm.
St. John’s is the first power conference to offer Jalen Bradberry as the rising season also picked up an offer from the University of Massachusetts on the same day as the Johnnies offered him.
Other schools that are courting Bradberry are Youngstown State, Buffalo, Sienna, Bryant, Niagara, and Stony Brook.
The Red Storm then moved south in the trig-state area and extended offers to New Jersey standouts Will Richardson and Jayden Lemond, both of the Class of 2022.

On the same day St. John’s offered Bradberry, May 13, the program offered Jayden Lemon, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Neptune, New Jersey.
Lemond stars at Dwight-Englewood School and is ranked as a two-star prospect by Verbal Commits and also recently picked up an offer from Seton Hall.

Kevin Willard and his staff extended a scholarship to Lemond on May 7.
As for Will Richardson, he is a 6-foot-2 point guard from Bergen Catholic High School, and was offered by Mike Anderson on May 14.
Richardson, an Oradell, New Jersey native, is also listed as a 6-foot-2 point guard, and led Bergen Catholic to a NJSIAA Non-Public Group A Sectional Tournament Championship, over Mark Armstong and St. Peter’s Prep, a fellow St. John’s recruit.

The point guard is listed as a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports and also holds an offer from Vanderbilt.
St. John’s currently does not have any commits in the Class of 2021 or 2022 but that should not last much longer considering how often Mike Anderson and his staff are connecting with recruits.
