Midnight on June 15 marked the official time period in which Division I head coaches could formally reach out to members of the Class of 2022 and St. John’s certainly did not waste any time getting recruits familiar with the legendary program that sits between Union Turnpike and Utopia Parkway.
In his recruiting at St. John’s, Mike Anderson has made it a priority to try and reach out to guards that are athletic and highly motivated in order to play in his up-tempo, pressing style of basketball and that was no different starting on Monday.
Anderson has currently reached out to fourteen players in the rising junior class, some that already hold offers from the Red Storm, and some that are establishing themselves are prime targets for the Johnnies.
St. John’s certainly seems motivated to land a number of these prospect as a handful have been on the radar of the Red Storm for quite some time.
NOTE: The positions and rankings for prospects are used from various recruiting based websites and this post will be updated as St. John’s reaches out to more prospects in the coming days.
