St. John’s basketball extends offer to Class of 2021 JUCO 7-footer
The St. John’s basketball program has extended an offer to junior college Class of 2021 prospect Carlos Curry.
Another big, dominant paint force could be coming to Queens as head coach Mike Anderson and the St. John’s Red Storm extended an offer to Class of 2021 prospect Carlos Curry.
Curry played his freshman season for Ole Miss before announcing his intensions to transfer from the program following the season.

The East Albany, Georgia native committed to Northwest Mississippi Community College earlier this month but Division I offers have been pouring in for the highly coveted recruit.
In his one season in Oxford, Curry played in 17 games and only averaged 4.6 minutes, 0.7 points, and 0.7 rebounds per game.
Prior to his commitment to Ole Miss, Carlos Curry has committed to Middle Tennessee State back in November of 2017 and then decommitted from the Blue Raiders in April of 2018 before picking up an offer from the Rebels and committing a month later.
In addition to Ole Miss, Curry also had offers from Buffalo, Florida State, Illinois State, Mercer, Oklahoma, Troy, and Western Kentucky, among others prior to his original commitment.

Since leaving Mississippi, the forward has picked up offers from West Virginia, Florida International, Cleveland State, Kent State, Akron, East Tennessee State, Southern Utah, and Old Dominion.
Carlos Curry announced his offer from Mike Anderson and his coaching staff via his Twitter page with a graphic of the Empire State Building in the background.
As center Josh Roberts enters his junior season, St. John’s continues to look for much needed size and depth in the paint and a senior version of Roberts and a junior Curry in the 2021-22 season could be a major boost for Anderson and the Johnnies.

Carlos Curry has not provided a timetable for a possible cutdown of his list or decision date as he is still preparing for his junior college season that will hopefully take place amid the coronavirus pandemic.
St. John’s only has one commit from a member of the Class of 2021 in Harlem, New York native Drissa Traore.
