With three games remaining in the season for a majority of the league, Stashak and the Twins are still fighting for the American League Central Division with the Chicago White Sox, with Minnesota holding a one game lead.

However, Stashak’s Twins could be the team that doesn’t allow Amir Garrett and the Cincinnati Reds to reach the postseason for the first time 2013.

Minnesota and Cincinnati begin a three game series on Friday night at Target Field in Minneapolis.

The Reds currently have a half game lead over the San Francisco Giants for the first Wild Card slot as the Philadelphia Phillies are one and a half games behind Cincinnati.

As for Joe Panik and the Toronto Blue Jays, they cinched a playoff berth on Thursday night thanks to its victory over the New York Yankees and the Jays still have a chance to catch New York for second place in the American League East, which would give Toronto a better playoff seeding.
